Disappointing in cut of heel.

I was very disappointed upon receiving my boots. I am normally an 8 1/2 narrow so I ordered a nine. My foot slipped in fine but I couldn't zip it up on back of heal. It seems they cut the heel too short. I have never had this problem before. Now, to mail them back. I am afraid 9 1/2 will be too big in the fore front. Real disappointment.

Cute but runs narrow

In a "narrow" width, this boot runs very narrow. I have seen similar reviews about the boot running very narrow on other vendor's websites. I am habitually a 10 N in a Vaneli. It was so narrow that it was uncomfortable upon trying it on. Every now and then, a design comes off the line that is not true to size, and this seems to be one of them. I'd like to try a 10.5 N to see if that provides more room in the width, but I don't think the style is made in this size. I may even try another pair in the same 10 N size, thinking that a different lot may fit differently. Overall, the style is very cute and versatile. The distressed leather is quite nice, but I gave the boot 3 stars in quality because of the sizing issue. At the MSRP of $185, I gave it 3 stars in price and value.

The bootie of the season

One of the best pair of Vaneli boots this season! They are so comfortable and the side cuts are right on trend and add interest to the shoe. Absolutely in love with the distressed suede which is high quality and the tan color matches all my denim and looks so cute with white pants and a chunky fall sweater. You'll get so much wear out of these, definitely a must have.
